SouthPark has a new outdoor play area between Dick’s Sporting Goods and the food court. It’s nearly 2,000 square feet and features a North Carolina coast theme. It is open now. On Saturday, March 28th, 2015, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. it will be the setting for a free Easter event for families. Guests can enjoy a variety of activities, including arts and crafts, face-painting, entertainment by Mr. Nigel, and giveaways. At 3:00 p.m. SouthPark will celebrate the official grand opening with a ribbon cutting, followed by its annual Easter egg hunt.
