If you are a fan of pumpkins or art, plan on attending GUTS Saturday, October 27th, 2018, at BB&T Ballpark. Tickets are $10 and free for kids 12 and under. Purchase tickets online.
The event goes from 2:00 p.m. until 5 p.m.
GUTS is a pumpkin carving competition that benefits Make-a-Wish.
1:30 pm: CARVER SET UP
Carvers arrive at the BB&T Ballpark and set up their carving stations.
2:00 pm: GUESTS ARRIVE
Guests are welcome to arrive.
2:30 pm: READY, SET, CARVE!
Carving begins! 90 minutes of furious pumpkin carving action ensues.
In addition to carving, this is going on:
- A photo booth
- Custom GUTS tattoos and merchandise will be available.
- Trick-or-Treat
- Temporary Tattoos
- Concessions will be available for purchase.
- Guests and Carvers can begin casting their “People’s Choice” votes at any time.
- Guests are able to participate in “Buy Now” for purchasing pumpkins.
4:00 pm: CARVING ENDS AND JUDGING BEGINS
Carving ends. Carvers prep their stations for final judging and remaining “Buy Now” purchases. Judges will be making their rounds, scoring each entry. “Peoples’ Choice” voting continues.
4:25 pm: JUDGING AND “PEOPLE’S CHOICE” VOTING ENDS
“Buy Now” purchasing of pumpkins continue.
All votes for the “People’s Choice” must be cast.
4:40 pm: WINNERS ANNOUNCED
Carving winners and raffle winners will be announced.
5:30 pm: AFTER PARTY
