Reevestock is a small, relaxed, family-friendly music festival in a beautiful setting: Elkin, North Carolina’s “Hidden Amphitheater,” a privately owned entertainment venue in a wooded, park-like setting. On Saturday Reevestock offers the public a rare chance to visit and explore Elkin’s Hidden Amphitheater. Friday night’s festivities, which are free, take place in downtown Elkin. The festival features folk, folk/rock, blues and roots music.
The festival is the brainchild of the Charlotte-based folk/rock band Time Sawyer. It’s a fundraiser to provide college scholarships to students in Elkin, NC, the hometown of all four band members. Elkin is just about an hour from Charlotte, straight up I-77.
