Charlotte Academy of Music, 15040 Idlewild Road in Matthews, is hosting an open house on Saturday, October 17th, 2015, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. There will be trick-or-treating, Suzuki violin and cello demonstrations, teacher meet and greet, games, crafts, and faculty and student performances. There will also be a raffle for free lessons, classes and more. The event is free and open to the public. Children who come in costume will receive a special treat.
