The Town of Harrisburg is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a celebration on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at Harrisburg Park, 191 Sims Parkway, Harrisburg, North Carolina.
Fall is looking great around Charlotte, whether you’re looking for something spooky or totally kid-friendly! The celebration will start at 2 p.m. and continue through the afternoon and evening, ending at 10 p.m.
The celebration includes children’s activities, including the “world’s largest bounce house,” food trucks and much more.
At 7:30 p.m., there will be a concert featuring ACM and CMT award-winning country artist, Scotty McCreery (the American Idol Season 10 winner.) Dylan Schneider will be the opening artist.
There will also be a special 50th anniversary drone show.

Parking
Parking is available in the following lots:
- Handicap parking is available in the Oak Grove Baptist Church, Wells Fargo, and the strip mall outside Harrisburg Park
- Z-Max Boulevard Parking lot
- Speedway Parking lot – a shuttle will be provided back and forth from Harrisburg Park
- Oakley Drive Lot
- Harris Depot Park
Parking lots will open at noon. Shuttle service to and from the Charlotte Motor Speedway Parking lot starts at 2 p.m.
