Downtown Salisbury is celebrating history at History Alive on Friday, April 3rd, 2015, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. This is a free, family-friendly event. Downtown merchants will be dressed in historical costumes, provided by Eastern Costume Company, a business right in the heart of Salisbury. Historical characters in collaboration with the Rowan Museum will be stationed and strolling throughout downtown. The public is encouraged to wear costumes as well.
Wacky Doo the clown will be outside Critters Cards & Gifts making balloon animals for children. Magic Glen will be demonstrating magic and illusions in front of Fine Frame Gallery. Hop on the trolley for free rides around downtown and be sure to visit the Horse & Carriage near Caniche on West Fisher. Musician Bob Trice will be performing outside The Candy Shoppe on Main. Other entertainment and live music will be presented by bars and restaurants. Two Pigs Farms will be bringing out a few animals for a petting area besides K-Dee’s Jewelers.
