Hodges Family Farm, a favorite destination for families all year, is holding its First Annual Spring Fling and Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 26th, 2016, at 10 a.m. Hodges is at 3900 Rocky River Road. It costs $5 for kids to hunt for eggs. Cars that aren’t carrying kids who have registered will be charged $5 for parking. A limit of 100 kids can register for the Easter Egg Hunt, per time slot. There are time slots ranging from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., depending on the age of the child. The hunt is for kids age 2-6. Registration is open now. Registration closes on March 18, or when slots fill up. Prizes will be awarded to kids based on the number of eggs collected.
There will be lots to do besides the egg hunt, including sack races, coloring station, spoon races, bubble station, kid games, and, of course, meeting the animals on the farm. Including bunnies.
The farm has been in the Hodges family for over 100 years and is the oldest running farm in Charlotte. Check out the Easter picture above with three little Hodges kids in 1955!
