For the second year, Opera Carolina and Mosaic Arts will present Gian Carlo Menotti’s Amahl and the Night Visitors. On Christmas Eve 1951, the opera was broadcast by NBC and became a holiday classic. The holiday season message – of love, good deeds and miracles – resonates in this story about the shepherd boy Amahl’s encounters with the Three Kings and a magic star.
