For second year, Camp North End, 400 Camp Road, Charlotte, North Carolina, is hosting ice skating! The outdoor ice skating rink is at “Camp North Pole” from Friday, November 22, 2024, to Sunday, January 5, 2025. It will be open every day, including holidays. (Except if it’s closed due to inclement weather.)

Cost of Ice Skating
General admission is $15 for adults and $10 for kids ages 5 and under. General admission includes skate rental. You can wear your own skates, but you don’t get a discount. All tickets sales are walk-up only.
Special Events
Catch a special, free, performance by Extreme Ice Center on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 6:15 p.m.
Sign up to join Extreme Ice Center’s Learn to Skate USA program on Sunday, November 24, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. It’s FREE. Sign up here.
The Lodge
Warm up at the Coco Cabana inside the Ford Building, overlooking the rink. It will be open all hours that skating is open and will offer warm drinks, beer, wine, snacks, s’more kits, popcorn and holiday vibes.

Hours of Ice Skating
- Monday to Thursday: 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
- Friday: 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- Saturday: 12 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- Sunday: 12 p.m. 9 p.m.
The hours are different on holidays:
- Thanksgiving Break (November 27 to 30, 2024): 12 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- Christmas Eve (December 24): 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
- Winter Break (December 22 to January 3, except Christmas Eve): 12 p.m. to 10 p.m.

What Else is Happening?
Mistletoe Market will take place on Saturdays, December 7, 14 and 21, 2024, from 3 to 8 p.m. This is a great chance to shop for holiday gifts from makers and local vendors and to soak up even more holiday vibes. And the Reindog Parade, a parade of dogs in Christmas sweaters (and more) takes place Saturday, December 14, 2024, from 3 to 5 p.m.

Where to Park at Camp North End
You can expect big crowds during Mistletoe Markets and other events, so if you can rideshare or carpool, you should.
There is a lot of free parking at Camp North End:
- Boileryard district: 1824 Statesville Avenue
- Mount district: 1774 Statesville Avenue
- Keswick district: 1801 N. Graham Street
- Garage: 120 Razades Way (first 3 hours free)
