Charlotte Mecklenburg Library has announced the 2024 summer exhibit at ImaginOn: The Joe & Joan Martin Center, at 300 East 7th Street, Charlotte.
Storyland: A Trip Through Childhood Favorites will be available from May 25 to September 7, 2024, whenever ImaginOn is open.
It’s open during ImaginOn building hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Friday and Saturday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
ImaginOn is closed on Sundays from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
The 1,500 square-foot exhibit is free to visit, as is the rest of ImaginOn, including the Spangler Library, The Loft for Teens, The Block for Preteens, Studio I for teens and families and the Park Family Story Lab. Learn about what each of these areas has to offer at Imaginon.org.

- The Tale of Peter Rabbit by Beatrix Potter
- If You Give a Mouse a Cookie by Laura Numeroff
- Chicka Chicka Boom Boom by Bill Martin Jr. and John Archambault
- The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats
- Abuela by Arthur Dorros
- Tuesday by David Wiesner
- Where’s Spot? by Eric Hill
Each story becomes a 3D interactive play space for children.
