Grammy nominated Imani Winds will be performing at Free Range Brewing, 2320 N Davidson Street, Charlotte, NC, on Saturday, February 25th, 2023. There will be two performances, at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
The concerts are free, but tickets are required.
The wind quartet, based in New York, is known for performing both traditional chamber music repertoire and music from new voices, especially music that reflects historical events and social issues of our times. They have performed in prominent international venues, including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the Kennedy Center and more.
The group’s most recent album, Bruits, received a 2022 Grammy nomination for “Best Chamber Music/Small Ensemble Performance.”
