Innovate 301 is a program at Discovery Place that gathers a new community of learners who collaborate, share ideas and learn new skills. The events are free or inexpensive and do not require museum admission. The program on June 27th, 2015, from noon to 5:00 p.m., is free, and focuses on aerial photography. Meet at the museum at Windows On Tryon, Level 2. Get a bird’s eye view of things. See what happens when a digital camera takes flight attached to a bunch of balloons. You’ll get to keep and use the digital pictures and videos.
Future Innovate 301 programs might involve sewing, soldering and programming, and will explore new materials, tools and processes.
