C3Lab, a collaborative work space and creative hub, is hosting Jazz Lab Short Sessions, featuring the John Brown Quartet. These free events will include a Q&A format mixed with live jazz music. John Brown is a bassist and composer who is the director of Jazz Studies at Duke University. He’ll be performing with a quartet in this intimate setting.
The sessions will take place Thursday, September 17th, 2015, and October 15th, 2015, at 7:00 p.m. in the Event Space at C3Lab. These are free events. Audience members will get a chance to ask questions about jazz or the musicians themselves.
