JJ’s Red Hots is opening a third location, this one in Uptown. It’ll be at 400 South Tryon Street, with the storefront on the corner of Church and MLK, across from Mellow Mushroom.
JJ’s motto is “Don’t Dis’ the Dog.”
And you won’t. They serve Sahlen’s smokehouse hot dogs and sausages and toast Martin’s potato rolls. They hand-craft chili, pickles, onion rings, borracho beans, bacon and sausage and other items.
The first two locations are:
- Dilworth: 1514 East Blvd
- Ballantyne: 15105 John J Delaney Drive
The Uptown location will open Tuesday, January 2nd, 2018. Starting at 3 p.m., the first 50 people get a free signature hot dog.
