Joedance raises funds and awareness for pediatric cancer research at Atrium Health’s Levine Children’s through an annual film festival featuring directors, producers, writers and actors who share a North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, or Tennessee connection.
The organization supports research and clinical trials for pediatric sarcomas, blastomas and brain tumors.
In 2020, like many other events, the film festival can’t take place in person, but it will take place virtually.
A set of short films will be released on Thursday, August 6th, Friday, August 7th, and Saturday, August 8th.
If you buy a ticket then you’ll have 24 hours after the start time to begin watching, and 24 hours to finish watching.
Tickets for each of the nights is $20, and tickets for the afternoon of student films is $10. You also have the option to buy a pass to the whole festival.
These films are all for mature audiences.
