The Charlotte Chapter of the North Carolina Wildlife Federation, CROWN, presents Kids Connect with Nature. (CROWN = Charlotte Reconnecting Ourselves With Nature) on Saturday, May 6th, 2017, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Park Road Park, 6220 Park Road.
This is a free event.
This family friendly event will help kids connect with the natural world with hands on crafts, nature walks, live animals, special projects and chances to win prizes.
Special nature stations include:
- Pollination Station
- Bird feeder & coloring station
- Live Reptile station
- Sleep, Health & Nature station
- Upcycle Projects station
- Naturalist-led nature hikes
- Scavenger hunt
