King of Pops is opening their first retail shop, at 2500 Dunavant Street in the South End, and they’re handing out FREE pops this weekend, Saturday, June 4th, 2016, 12 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday, June 5th, 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. You’ve probably seen King of Pops at festivals. If you haven’t tried a pop yet, you should. My favorite flavor is banana pudding.
Some advice on parking, from King of Pops:
We encourage you to walk, ride bikes or use the Light Rail. (New Bern Station is a .6 mile walk.) Some street parking is available and you are welcome to park in the dirt lot to the right of Club Fetch. Please don’t park in our neighbors’ lots.
