Free Reign Theatre Company is performing William Shakespeare’s Lear at Duke Energy Theater, at Spirit Square, 345 N. College Street, in November, 2019.

Tickets are affordable, at $12 in advance, and $15 at the door.

Discounts are also given on the day of the show at the box office for military, seniors, and students with valid IDs. Groups of 8+ are extended a $10 rate.
A Viking king of Britain who has decided to retire, passing on the responsibilities of leadership to her daughters, but in doing so loses her power and can’t see that she’s been deceived by them until it’s too late. This gender-bent casting explores the bond between the mother and her children. The cast will bring you themes of familial love, deception, and the quest for reconciliation.
