Here’s more, from the Facebook page for the event:
After hurdling a few unexpected roadblocks we ride again for a special weekend of skate art, music, and trademark good times. From Friday October 14, through Sunday October 16, Twenty-Two and Blacksheep Skate Shop offer a final exclusive presentation of Let the Good Times Roll, our celebrated annual skate deck art show benefitting a grassroots skate park in Charlotte. As one of our most anticipated shows of the year, we appreciate your patience with our changes and we are eager to give this celebrated show the sendoff it deserves.
Sponsored by PBR, the special weekend features: Let the Good Times Roll skate deck art available for purchase, an official record listening party for Plaza Midwood’s indie rock trio Scowl Brow (8pm Friday), nightly DJs, and complimentary PBR draft with valid ID.
What does the future hold for Twenty-Two? Stay tuned in the coming months for an exciting collaborative effort between Rodney Raines (Twenty-Two) and Andy Kastanas (Soul Gastrolounge). With their vast combined experience in the art and service industry, an endeavor joining these two forces promises to distinguish itself from the familiar and predictable.
Your ongoing support during our transitionary period has been deeply and sincerely appreciated. Thanks for sticking with us, we’re excited to walk together into the next adventure.
