First Ward Park, at 301 E 7th Street, is again hosting a FREE Americana concert series in 2019.
Sounds of Summer in First Ward Park, formerly known as Live on the Green, is celebrating its third year.
The series has been paired down to four concerts. Each features two artists and will be going on from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
First Ward Park is right at 7th Street Station on the Blue Line, and very close to the 9th Street Station as well. Parking is easy too, in the 7th Street Station garage. There is also free street parking in the evenings, but it can fill up.
Buy something to eat at 7th Street Public Market and get your parking ticket validated for an hour and a half at 7th Street Station.
