Mike Collins, of WFAE’s Charlotte Talks, is hosting a discussion about the Charlotte music scene on Thursday, April 2nd, 2015, 7:00 p.m., at The Evening Muse, 3227 North Davidson Street. A panel of folks involved in Charlotte’s music scene will discuss how it’s re-emerging as a music hub. The panel includes Gregg McCraw, owner of Maxx Music, which brings top-notch artists to Charlotte, Creative Loafing music editor Jeff Hahne, and Croquet Records’ founder James Willamor. Local band Sinners and Saints will be playing some tunes. It’s free but you have to sign up in advance, and there’s limited space.
