Blumenthal Performing Arts is presenting the film, Loving Vincent, at Camp North End, on Thursday, August 19th, 2021, at 6:30 p.m. The special screening is free, but space is limited, and you need to get a ticket.
Blumenthal Performing Arts announced this event on Facebook.
It will take place at the Raceway Building, near the water tower.
Loving Vincent is the first fully painted animated feature film. It’s a biographical drama about Vincent Van Gogh.
The event will also include a panel discussion with Kat Knutsen, one of the painters of Loving Vincent, and Bree Stallings, a local artist who is Director of Artistic Experiences at the Blumenthal.
The panel discussion starts at 6:30 p.m. and the film starts at 7:30 p.m.
Immersive Van Gogh
Immersive Van Gogh is taking place through October 31st, 2021, in the Historic Ford Building in Camp North End. Tickets start at $40.
Even if the ticket price for Immersive Van Gogh is out of your budget, it’s worth it to go to the Ford Building and check out the art in the lobby. Local artists are creating work inspired by Van Gogh, and there are also multiple large photo props in the space.
