Lumberjaxe, Charlotte’s first competitive axe throwing facility, is celebrating its grand opening on Saturday, December 2nd, 2017, from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. (The doors will open at 10 a.m. for regular play.) It’s free to attend, but there’s a cost for axe-throwing. (See below.)
The facility is at 933 Louise Avenue.
Here’s what’s going on at the grand opening:
- Try axe throwing for 30 minutes for $10/person.
- Raffles throughout the day (see below for the prizes)
- Food for purchase from Casa CLT Food Truck
- Breweries D9 and Resident Culture will be selling beer
- Since paid play will probably be booked up in advance, there will be four additional targets set up outside so other attendees can give it a shot for free.
- There will be an area roped off outside for people to hang out in. There will be arcade games provided by Abari and play will be free at those games.
