MapleWalk Garden, at 4255 Kingswood Road, Charlotte, North Carolina, is privately owned but open to the public. Visit during daylight hours, seven days a week, all year, unless it’s closed for a private event.
There’s no admission charge. Just park on the street (being careful to not drive or park on neighbors’ grass), stay on the paths, and explore.
MapleWalk Garden is on three residential lots. It includes:
- 70 tons of boulders
- 2.25 acres
- 1,700 feet of stone-lined paths
- 95+ Japanese maple varieties
- 90+ camellia japonica varieties
- 23 dogwood varieties
- Labeled plants
MapleWalk is magical to visit any time of year. Don’t miss visiting in late fall, when the maples burst into bright red!
