Unless you just emerged from a coma (welcome back!) you know that UNC and Duke are facing each other in a Final Four game on Saturday, April 2nd, 2022. The game is scheduled for 8:49 p.m.
UNC and Duke have never faced each other in the NCAA Tournament, much less the Final Four, so it’s a big deal for the many people who have a favorite in the greatest college basketball rivalry.
The problem is that the game is on TBS and if you have cut the cord and are cable-free, you might be scrambling for a way to watch the game at home. (Obviously, it will be on at every sports bar, and at your neighbor’s house, who has cable.)
Our friends at Atlanta on the Cheap wrote up the most complete and correct write-up I’ve seen on how to watch March Madness if you don’t have cable. You should read this to get the whole picture about how to watch the games.
In our household, which supports a certain shade of blue, we explored several options, and we found that many of the free trials, which were available in early March, have been discontinued.
The best choice we found was Sling TV Blue Plan. It’s $35 a month, and right now you can get $10 off the first month. (I don’t know how long that deal lasts.) So for $25 you can watch the Final Four, the championship game, and more.
Sling TV includes 42 channels, plus 50 hours of DVR storage. So you can rewatch that moment when the winner cuts down the net. Or delete if it makes you sad.
