The McColl Center of Art + Innovation, at 721 North Tryon Street, is holding the opening reception for the McColl Center Member Show on Saturday, August 13th, 2016, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. It’s open to the public and free to attend. $5 donation suggested.
McColl Center for Art + Innovation presents the McColl Center Member Show, an exhibition of work from McColl Center Members/Artists. (See CALL FOR ARTISTS below for participation guidelines.) The McColl Center Member Show is a non-juried, salon-style exhibition, featuring the artwork of current McColl Center Members, and on view at McColl Center from August 13–27, 2016.

Join us for the Opening Reception of the McColl Center Member Show on Saturday, August 13 from 5 to 9 PM. The exhibition of artwork by McColl Center Members will be on view throughout the Center’s galleries. Attendees will choose a People’s Choice Award during the Opening Reception and the winning artist will receive a $300 prize.
We’ll also have live music by Merge Records recording artist and Charlotte’s own Benji Hughes, internationally inspired cuisine from the New Wrap Order food truck, a beer and wine cash bar, and hands-on activities. Here’s a rundown of the event happenings.
