NASCAR Hall of Fame is hosting a free event on the Plaza on Saturday, October 10th, 2015, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This morning of family fun will not only introduce everyone to Champ, but will also include some of the other Charlotte mascots: Sir Purr from the Carolina Panthers, the real Homer the Dragon from the Charlotte Knights, Chubby from the Charlotte Checkers and Blue from the Charlotte Hounds. 100 kids will win free Champ the Cheetah t-shirts. There will be plenty of games and activities on the Plaza.
Kids will have an opportunity to take a photo with mascots and NASCAR Hall of Fame Members and Rookie Racers Kids Club members will receive their pictures free. Membership is $40 a year.
It will also be the first weekend for the NASCAR Hall of Fame’s newest exhibit, “24: A Tribute to Jeff Gordon,” and to celebrate, all children will be admitted on Saturday to the NASCAR Hall of Fame for just $2.40. So bring the whole family to the NASCAR Hall of Fame Plaza on 10/10 at 10 a.m. The offer is good for day-of admission only and must be purchased at the Box Office.
