The Town of Huntersville, along with American Legion Post 321, invites the community to a Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday, May 27, 2024, at Veterans Park, 201 Huntersville-Concord Road, Huntersville, NC.
Enjoy patriotic pre-ceremony music at 10:45 a.m. with the North Mecklenburg Community Chorus. Audience participation is encouraged through display of red, white, and blue either through dress and/or flags.
The ceremony will begin promptly at 11 a.m., and end with a Salute to the Fallen by members of the American Legion Post 321.
Colors will be presented by Cadets from North Mecklenburg High School Junior ROTC, led by bagpiper David Thornburg and retired by the Civil Air Patrol. Renee Mauney will be the interpreter for the deaf.
