Memorial Day ceremony in Waxhaw - Charlotte On The Cheap

The Town of Waxhaw is holding a ceremony for Memorial Day on Monday, May 27, 2024, at 10 a.m. This year the ceremony will take place at the Waxhaw Military Wall of Honor, 109 E North Main Street, Waxhaw, North Carolina.

This is a time of remembrance for those who have died in service of the United states of America.

The ceremony will include:

Welcoming remarks from the Mayor
Presentation and Changing of the Colors by Parkwood Air Force JROTC
National Anthem by Forest Hill Church
Pledge of Allegience by Cup Scout Pack 53
Invocation by Forest Hill Church
Bagpipes by Jimmy Brennan
Guest speaker Cameron Jackson
3 Round Volley Salute and Taps by American Legion Post 208
Closing remarks
