Spend Memorial Day at Museum of the Waxhaws, 8215 Waxhaw Hwy, Waxhaw, North Carolina. The museum is 31 miles to the south of the center of Charlotte. It’s close to people in Ballantyne, Pineville, and Weddington.
On Monday, May 27, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., there will be military displays featuring the Revolutionary War, Civil War, WWI and WWII. There will be a special Memorial Day craft for kids.

Admission is free for all military members and all children. Admission is $8 for seniors and $10 for everyone else.
