American Legion Memorial Stadium
American Legion Memorial Stadium, at 1218 Armory Drive, is a brand new stadium, not a renovation of the original Memorial Stadium, which had structural issues that made it unsafe.
The Charlotte Independence are playing all their home games in this stadium.
The stadium is bowl-shaped, with a maximum capacity of 10,500, including 9,500 fixed seats. It boasts a view of Charlotte’s skyline, and access to Little Sugar Creek Greenway and Independence Park, via a pedestrian tunnel.
