Discovery Place Science has announced that November 18 and 19, 2023, will be Military Heroes Weekend, sponsored by USAA.
The Museum will offer free admission to those with active military ID or USAA membership, and their families.
The admission will include the featured exhibition, Marvel: Universe of Super Heroes.
The free admission includes up to four tickets per active military ID or USAA membership.
Tickets must be reserved online in advance through the Discovery Place website here. Free admission tickets are for timed entry. When you arrive at Discovery Place Science, you’ll need to show your active military ID or USAA membership.
Timed tickets are for time slots from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day.
Additional tickets, which include entrance to Discovery Place Science and the featured exhibition ‘Marvel: Universe of Super Heroes,’ can be purchased at the discounted price of $34 each. Military families will also receive Member pricing for parking and documentary films in the Accenture IMAX Dome Theatre as well as a 20% discount in Shop Science during their visit.

Marvel: Universe of Super Heroes
Marvel: Universe of Super Heroes will be at Discovery Place Science through January 1, 2024. The exhibit begins with the origins of the Marvel Universe and movies through to the present day. Visitors will see rare objects from the past 80 years of pop culture history.
The exhibit tells the story of the company and how it has influenced visual culture, while also shedding light on the narratives of individual characters.
