Discovery Place and Charlotte Amateur Astronomers Club is holding a free Moon and Star Party on the upper level of the Discovery Place parking deck on Tuesday, April 8th, 2014, at 7:30pm. Parking is free too. Park on Level 2 of the parking deck. Telescopes will be available to study Earth’s moon, Jupiter and four of its moons, and the Orion nebula. If it’s raining or the skies are completely overcast the event will be canceled.
