The Mount Holly Historical Society is putting on Flood Fest Saturday, July 16th, 2016, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to celebrate the town of Mt. Holly’s resiliency and to mark the centennial anniversary of the Great Flood of 1916. At 10 a.m. the flood exhibit will be unveiled. At 11:15 a.m. there will be a ringing of the historic bell. Food trucks will be on site and there will be live music and a kids’ zone during the event. Lakestreet Drive Band will be performing at 1 p.m.
