On Friday, August 30th, 2019, at 10 a.m., join Northwest School of the Arts and the Lincoln Heights Neighborhood Association at the dedication ceremony and celebration of the new mural in the front of the school, at 1415 Beatties Ford Road.
The school and neighborhood association were awarded a grant by the City of Charlotte for award-winning Charlotte artist Rosalia Torres Weiner to create the mural.
The artist incorporated the neighborhood’s cultural identity into the mural.
Friday’s event is open to the public.
Northwest School of the Arts is Charlotte’s public arts magnet school, serving talented, motivated students in grades 6-12.
