Museum of the Waxhaws, 8215 Waxhaw Hwy, Waxhaw, is providing free admission for all veterans and their families on November 7th, 2015, the Saturday before Veterans Day. The hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Enjoy displays by local military historian Jack Clay, cake, coffee, and much more. A flag retirement ceremony will be held at 11:00 a.m. by several local scouting units along with the assistance of the Honor Guard from VFW Post 2423.
