Spend Independence Day at Museum of the Waxhaws, 8215 Waxhaw Hwy, Waxhaw, North Carolina. The museum is 31 miles to the south of the center of Charlotte. It’s close to people in Ballantyne, Pineville, and Weddington.
The Museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, July 5, and Saturday, July 6, 2024.
Each visitor will receive a free patriotic gift. There will be patriotic crafts for kids.
On Friday at noon, the Declaration of Independence will be read.

Admission is free for all military members and all children. Admission is $8 for seniors and $10 for everyone else.
