Museums for All is a nationwide program with the goal of making museums accessible to everyone in the community. Participating museums offer free or reduced admission for people receiving food assistance (SNAP benefits.)
Museums for All is an initiative of the Institute of Museum and Library Services, and is administered by the Association of Children’s Museums.

The program is available to any type of museum, including art, history, natural history/anthropology, and general museums, children’s museums, science centers, planetariums, nature centers, historic houses/sites, zoos, aquariums, botanical gardens, and arboretums.
At participating museums, just show your SNAP EBT card for the reduced rate.

Discovery Place Science

Reduced rate is available to North and South Carolina EBT or WIC card holders, at $3 per person. Up to six guests per EBT or WIC card. Discounted parking is also available, at $8. You can purchase your ticket online or at the admissions desk.
Carolina Raptor Center
6000 Sample Road, Huntersville, NC
Free admission for a family of four — for individuals participating in SNAP/EBT or WIC.
Charlotte Museum of History
3500 Shamrock Drive, Charlotte, NC
Free admission for a family of four — for individuals participating in SNAP/EBT.
Discovery Place Kids (Huntersville)
105 Gilead Road, Huntersville, NC
Reduced rate is available to North and South Carolina EBT or WIC card holders, at $3 per person. Up to six guests per EBT or WIC card. You can purchase your tickets online or at the admissions desk.
Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden
6500 South New Hope Road, Belmont, NC
Reduced rate is $1 per person if you have an EBT card. Valid for up to six family members. Come as often as you’d like during daytime hours. Just show your card at admissions to receive the discount. Offer not valid for select events.
Wing Haven
260 Ridgewood Avenue, Charlotte, NC
Present your SNAP Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card or WIC card/voucher to the admissions team upon check in to receive free general admission for a party of up to four people, with children 10 and under free, to Wing Haven’s gardens.
Note: only applies for general admission, not valid for special events.
Sullenberger Aviation Museum
4108 Minuteman Way, Charlotte, NC
Sullenburger Aviation Museum participates in the Welcome Program. It offers EBT and WIC participants admission for $3/person, for up to 6 people. Just provide a valid Id and proof of EBT/WIC enrollment at the Welcome Desk.
