The Light Factory will exhibit Heightened Perspective, an installation by Ethan Jackson, from November 18th, 2016, to January 6th, 2017.
The opening reception will take place Friday, November 18th, 2016, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and will feature live, original music and film as well.
Installation artist and photographer Ethan Jackson will project video into the front and back of rooms of The Light Factory exhibition space, transforming all four walls into slowly moving landscapes. Phil Solomon’s experimental film “Twilight Psalm II: Walking Distance” will bisect these two video installations.
Fresh Ink, a new-music ensemble of professional musicians, will be performing new works composed by local composers John Allemeier of UNCCharlotte and Zach Zebow of Queens University of Charlotte. Performance will begin at 6 p.m.
