Music in the Garden and May Day Celebration at UNCC Botanical Garden

Celebrate May Day at the Gazebo in the Susie Harwood Garden at UNC Charlotte, 9090 Craver Road.

The event takes place Wednesday, May 1st, 2019, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.

It’s free to attend and you don’t need to make a reservation.

Celebrate May Day with the music of the Renaissance, from the time of Shakespeare and Queen Elizabeth I, played on instruments of the period by performers from CPCC’s Early Music Consort.

Enjoy madrigals, processions, and a May pole while you celebrate the coming of spring, outdoors in UNCC’s botanical garden.

The garden is full of gorgeous flowers. The May pole will be kid-friendly, but numbers are limited.
