Have you ever wished you could look at one place and see a list of all the live music in Charlotte in a concise, easy-to-read format? For 15 years, the award-winning CharlotteMusic provided just that. When they were unable to maintain the list any longer, it left a void for music fans in the Queen City.
Charlotte on the Cheap is going to try to meet that need with a new weekly newsletter. Charlotte on the Cheap Music will arrive Wednesday morning. It will include a list of live music happening the next 7 days, culled from the offerings of more than 20 venues. The newsletter might also include other music news, such a list of free or low-cost shows at breweries and coffee shops, a special discount on a concert, ticket giveaways, music festivals, outdoor music series and more.
But the one thing it will always include will be the live music happening in venues the coming week.
Sign up for the new weekly music mailing list to make sure you don’t miss a week.
If you’re already a Charlotte on the Cheap email subscriber then you don’t have to do a thing. The weekly music news will show up the email that you already receive from Charlotte on the Cheap, mixed in with the food freebies, free museum days, art openings, kids’ activities and everything else you rely on Charlotte on the Cheap for. (Does that sound good? Then you’ll want to sign up for Charlotte on the Cheap’s daily email.)
But if you want one music-packed email a week, then you’ll want to sign up for the weekly music newsletter.

So happy about this new offering! Ain’t nobody got time for checking every single venue to see who’s where! (Well, nobody but Cheapskate!)
