Celebrate National Oyster Day on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at Lenny Boy Brewing Co., 3000 S Tryon Street, Charlotte, NC.
The Waterman Fish Bar (South End) is giving away 500 FREE oysters, starting at 3 p.m. and ending when the last oyster is shucked.
They’ll be shucking their house oyster, the Sea Level Salt, which arrives tide-to-table from the Carolina coast. They’ll have shellfish tags on site if you’d like to learn more about the oysters’ harvest journey.
No RSVP or tickets are required, but you might want to get there early. You can expect about to receive around three oysters per tray.
