The NBA All-Star Game takes place Sunday, February 17th, 2019. We can’t help you get tickets to the main event, and definitely not “on the cheap,” but keep an eye on the NBA All-Star website for updates on that.
There are some official events leading up to the game, and, sorry to say, most of those are sold out too. But we’ll list what’s going on in case tickets become available.
Then we will also include unofficial events that Charlotte businesses are presenting to celebrate NBA All-Star Weekend, and finally, we’ll include a list of other things going on NBA All-Star Weekend, and these will be free and cheap things to do.
If you’re coming in from out of town for the All-Star Game, please check out our city!
Everyone, please be aware that we’re expecting a huge influx of people into Center City and some regularly scheduled events will be canceled, due to expected traffic. So make sure to check with any venue you’re planning to visit, to make sure nothing has changed.
In addition, the City of Charlotte is temporarily moving the Transit Center located at 7th Street, will be closing some roads around the Spectrum Center, will be instituting special security measures on the LYNX Blue Line and more. Please read 10 Things to Know for NBA All-Star Weekend from the City of Charlotte. (Hint: this is important. If you take the Blue Line as part of your normal routine you will be affected.)
