On Saturday, February 22, 2025, North Carolina Asians Americans Together is presenting a Citizenship Clinic in Charlotte, North Carolina. The location and time will be provided to those who sign up. Register here.
This citizenship clinic will assist eligible individuals. The organization will help with the application, including free legal review.
The form asks the following questions to determine eligibility:
- Are you 18 or older?
- Are you a legal permanent resident of the U.S.? (Do you have a “green card?”)
- Have you had the green card at least 5 years? (Or at least 3 years if you’re married to a U.S. citizen?)
- Do you speak comfortable English? (There are exemptions for people who are 50 or older and have been a green card holder for a certain number of years, depending on their age.)
