North Carolina Bach Festival was founded in 1979 as a statewide celebration of Johann Sebastian Bach. It features concerts with interpretation of his work as well as of other composers of his era.

The recipients of the NCBF 2018 Young Artist Awards selected by the expert jury at the NCBF Annual Youth Concert and special guests will share their beautiful performances of music of Johann Sebastian Bach and other composers of his era. The concert is made possible thanks to the cooperation of Steinway Piano Gallery-Charlotte and The North Carolina Bach Festival, Inc. It is presented as a part of the SPG-Spotlight! recital series.
