Mooresville is celebrating its 150th anniversary in 2023 with a year of special events.
It’s kicking off the celebratory year with the Anniversary Kick-Off Fireworks Spectacular. This event was scheduled for New Year’s Eve, but is being postponed until January 14th, 2023, due to the weather forecast.
This free event for the whole community takes place on Saturday, January 14th, 2023, from 4 to 7 p.m., at Langtree Lake Norman, 401 Langtree Road, Mooresville.
Activities include:
- Music
- Food trucks
- Ninja Run
- Face painting
- Photo booth
- Magician
- Balloon animals
- More
The fireworks display will take place at 7 p.m.
Complimentary parking is available on-site. Also, free round-trip shuttles from Merino Mill (500 South Main Street) and The Cove Church (179 Langtree Road) will take you directly to the event, beginning at 4 p.m.
