See photos from NoDa’s past at NoDa Historic Mill Village Photo Exhibit – Grand Opening on Friday, July 14th, 2017, from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. at NoDa Company Store, 3221 Yadkin Avenue.
Here are all the details, from the Facebook event:
The Back in the Day Committee and The Company Store are offering you the chance to connect to a time a place from North Charlotte, before the idea of NoDa was even conjured.
Back in the Day has collected dozens of photographs over the years capturing the life and experiences of our mill villages. The Company Store generously offered to display some of the best of these on their walls.
Scott and Joey from the Company Store will also share the details and nuances on the elements in the beautiful mural on the outside of their building. You will be able to amaze your friends and family by pointing out Milhouse from the Simpsons on the side of the building and why that dude is running with a chicken.
Many of the photographs will be available for purchase, but the gallery and viewing the displays are free.
Event Opening is Friday, July 14 beginning at 6:00 p.m. Can’t make it that night? No worries because the exhibit will be on display throughout the summer until around Labor Day. Questions? backintheday@noda.org
