Salvaged Beauty NoDa, a vintage/antique store at 2320 North Davidson Street, is hosting a monthly swap meet the last Saturday of every month. The next one is November 28th, from 9:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Junk Rescue, right next door, opens their doors just once a month, at 8:00 a.m. They clean out homes and businesses, and recycle, but on that one day a month, you can shop there and can find great deals on furniture and architectural salvage items. Most items are for under $20.
At the November 28th swap meet there will also be special holiday activities and crafts. Also free hot chocolate.
Here’s what’s going on:
- Neighbors (and that means you) will be selling/buying/swapping yard sale stuff and handmade items. Bring a table or tent and get involved. There’s limited space and no registration is required. Set-up is at 9 a.m.
- All Salvaged Beauty inventory will be 31% off.
- Shopping for steals at Junk Rescue. They open at 8 a.m.
- Rain or shine. If you’re selling and you have a tarp or tent bring that just in case. The Salvaged Beauty and Junk Rescue buildings can provide shelter if necessary.
- There’s free parking behind Salvaged Beauty or across the street at the big parking lot at Amelie’s.
