On Friday, August 14th, 2015, McColl Center for Art + Innovation, at 721 N Tryon Street, is hosting an open house from 6 p.m to 9 p.m. It will be the final opportunity to experience “Prison Zoo,” the multimedia exhibition by 2014 Alumna Artist-in-Residence Alix Lambert, and visit with departing Summer 2015 Affilite Artists Charles Williams, Caroline Rust, Erik Waterkotte, Endia Beal, Matt Horick, and Taproot. Current 13-month Affiliate Artists Stephen L. Hayes Jr., a Missy Luczak-Smith + Doug Smith Fellow, and Ivan Toth Depeña will also be on hand to discuss their work and on-going residencies.
Admission is free and there will be music, light hors-d’oeuvres, and a cash bar.
