Ciel Gallery celebrates the opening of The Body Beautiful art exhibit on Friday, October 2nd, 2015, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Ciel Gallery is at 128 East Park Avenue. Here’s the information on the exhibit, which runs through October 31st.
In conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and with the sponsorship of Ortho Carolina Hand Center, we celebrate The Body Beautiful and our relationship with the corporeal, the spiritual, and the holistic nature of existence.
Join us October 2 as we inaugurate this national juried art exhibition. We are featuring 34 selected works inspired by all aspects of our human form and psyche.
The show was juried by Co-Jurors, Siu Challons-Lipton, D.Phil., Chair of the Art Department at Queens University, and Professor of Art History and Arts Leadership, and Jordan D. Lipton, MD, Physician and Partner at Signature Healthcare, Charlotte.
Selected winners will be announced during the opening.
Complimentary light refreshments and snacks will be served.
Exhibition runs through October 31.
